Breastfeeding should be a comfortable and pain-free experience for breastfeeding parents. There are many reasons why your breasts may be sore when breastfeeding.

Common cause of breast and nipple pain

The most common cause of breast and nipple pain is from feeding your baby in a uncomfortable or a ineffective way. It can cause the breastfeeding parent pain in their breasts and nipples.

Check to make sure your baby is in the right position and latching at the breast correctly.
